Crystal glass with a share of at least 30% PbO lead crystal or may be called full lead crystal. 30% PbO has the effect, when the sun strikes a crystal is refracted light in the glass through the sunbeam. The high content of PbO, it breaks up into its component colors, like a rainbow. This ensures the so-called rainbow effect - the play of light of a rainbow. The more facets a crystal has, the more "dancing" effect you get - no matter how the light hits the glass. Only in crystal glass with the proportion of at least 30% PbO you get this effect. The higher proportion of PbO increases the cost of the glass.
